Fuel System

The fuel tank is made from 10 swg aluminium with radius edges and lapped joints, filled with explosafe, pressure tested and certified with a capacity of 20 imperial gallons. It has a twin filler system (Bugatti fitted twin fillers to allow one filler to act as a breather when a car was being refuelled quickly during races). The fuel caps are chrome on brass and can be either Aston or Monza design. All main fuel lines are made of copper pipe and chromed copper pipe in the engine bay.

Fuel & Lubricants

The standard specification car is designed for today’s road use and competition and runs on unleaded premium fuel. Engine lubrication is with 20-40 mineral oil. The gearbox is lubricated by the same.

The rear axle is lubricated by 90 weight gear oil. Hydraulic systems operate on synthetic clutch and brake fluid.
