Suspension & Steering

The front suspension comprises of four chromed wishbones (two per side), Ford uprights with ventilated disc brakes. It has AVO coilover shock absorbers which, along with the springs, are fully adjustable for ride and the overall suspension is adjustable for fast road or competition purposes.

The rear suspension is a five link set-up with chrome rear trailing arms and panhard rod and AVO coilover shock absorbers. These are attached to a Salisbury rear axle.

All bushes used on the suspension are made of urethane.

Steering is provided by rack and pinion operating on both front wheels. The steering column is made out of stainless steel and runs in three machine bearings. It is topped by a hand made four spoke Bugatti style 15 inch steering wheel made of polished aluminium with a walnut rim.

Wheels & Brakes

The wheels are 62 spoke 18 inch, centre lock wire wheels, with chrome caps, either two eared or continental style. The tyres are Michelin Super Comfort 600-650 x 18 inch. Other types of tyres are available.

The spare wheel is mounted on the passenger side in a stainless steel Bugatti style mount fastened with leather straps.

The brake system on the car is dual circuit split front to rear with a twin remote servo located in the boat tail with a front/rear tilton bias adjustable from the cockpit. All brake pipes are in copper, all flexible hoses are in Goodrich stainless.

The front brakes are 11 inch diameter ventilated discs and the rear brakes are 10 inch diameter drum brakes. The external hand brake is made of stainless steel with a walnut button and operates on the rear wheels.

As an optional extra alloy finned drums of Bugatti dimensions can be fitted over the front discs.
